TELEGRAPH HILL

As one of San Francisco's 44 hills, and one of its original "Seven Hills”, Telegraph Hill is a mostly residential community known for its gardens and beautiful architecture. The hill owes its name to a windmill-like structure, erected in 1849, created to signal the rest of the city and alert them of the nature of the ships entering the Golden Gate. Its near beachfront location, stunning homes, and famous zip code make Telegraph Hill one of the more elite neighborhoods in all of San Francisco. Home to Coit Tower, which offers panoramic views of the city and SF bay, and also an enclave for south American wild Parrots. This neighborhood offers stunning views in every direction.

NORTH BEACH

The American Planning Association (APA) named North Beach as one of ten 'Great Neighborhoods in America. North Beach is San Francisco's Little Italy; extremely densely populated and bustling. The Beat movement started in this neighborhood, as it’s home to the countries oldest coffee shop as well as the world famous independent bookstore/publisher, City Lights. The main-side street, Grant Avenue, is the oldest street in San Francisco. Clearly, this neighborhood is full of history and still holds the same charm today that it did 100 years ago when it became part of the old Barbary Coast. North Beach’s myriad of historic landmarks include Washington Square Park and Saint Peter and Paul's Church.  It’s an area not to be missed… in any generation.

RUSSIAN HILL

Russian Hill is a residential neighborhood, home to some of the steepest hills in San Francisco, It’s small mom and pop stores, restaurants and dazzling views make it the vibrant and close-knit neighborhood that sits high the hill. The Hyde-Powell cable car weaves its way through its less than wide streets, full of Edwardian row homes. Also home to Lombard Street, which is known as "The world's crookedest street", Lombard winds past beautiful mansions and is lined with lush landscape and flowers from top to bottom. In fact, The Hill is full of secluded steep, zig-zagging steps that offer peaceful enjoyment and a good workout. But beyond whimsy, Russian Hill is known for its sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay, seeing stunning sunsets on the slopes of North Beach, Telegraph Hill, as well as the Bay Bridge.

THE BAY AREA

The San Francisco Bay Area is known for its natural beauty, liberal politics, entrepreneurship, and diversity. The area has high incomes, performing above the state median household income in the 2010 census; it includes the five highest California counties by per capita income and two of the top 25 wealthiest counties in the United States. Based on a 2013 population report from the California Department of Finance, the Bay Area is the only region in California where the rate of people migrating in from other areas in the United States is greater than the rate of those leaving the region, led by Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
